The NFL has punished the official who worked the Arizona Cardinals' 36-24 loss to the New York Giants on Sunday. Two officials were suspended.
The league suspended line judge Jeff Seeman two games and referee Adrian Hill for "an instance of unprofessional conduct toward a player." Seeman had a run-in with Cardinals tight end Trey McBride. After McBride complained when there was no flag for pass interference on an incompletion thrown his direction, Seeman was seen on camera yelling an expletive at McBride.
The NFL said it is reviewing the situation in which an official appears to use profanity at Cardinals TE Trey McBride.

Head
coach Mike LaFleur was asked about the situation.
“It’s a tough one for me," he said. "You hate to see it for obvious reasons. I don’t need to go further than that, but I do want to give the man a little bit of grace too. I know Jeff (Seeman). He’s a good man. It’s unfortunate it happened. It can’t happen obviously and I’ll leave it at that.”
