The Arizona Cardinals' preseason finale is Friday night against the Green Bay Packers, and then, on Sunday, they must trim their rosters to 53 players.
Many players are already locks to make the roster, and most of those guys won't play in the game.
Some players have one final shot at making an impression to make the final 53.
Who are the guys to watch for final roster spots who likely will play?
WRs Simi Fehoko, Jalen Brooks, Reggie Virgil, Ihmir Smith-Marsette
The Cardinals have seemingly four receiver spots locked up. The other one or two spots are complete toss-ups. It could come down to any of these four players.
OLs Matt Pryor, Hayden Conner, Oli Udoh
With Chase Bisontis out for the season and with Isaiah Adams currently dealing a knee injury, there is a spot on the roster for a backup guard, especially if Jon Gaines has to start the season in the starting
lineup. Conner has guard/center versatility, while Pryor and Udoh have guard/tackle versatility and plenty of starting experience.
CBs Elijah Jones, Kei'Trel Clark, Star Thomas
All three are longtime Cardinals and appear to be battling for the same spot. Will Johnson, Denzel Burke, Max Melton, Garrett Williams and Sean Murphy-Bunting all seem to be locks. If they keep six cornerbacks, it will come down to one of these three. Jones seems to have the most potential, but Clark and Thomas have much more on-field experience in Nick Rallis' defense.
