Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett had a very solid opening-week performance. He completed 27-of-37 passes for 277 yards and a touchdown, leading the Cardinals to a 26-14 road win over the Los Angeles Chargers. His performance sent him flying the QB rankings by NFL.com's Nick Shook.
He opened the season at No. 28 in Tier 5. He moved all the way up to No. 18 and in Tier 3 in Week 2.
Brissett certainly didn't fail, powering a hungry Cardinals offense by leaning on Trey McBride and even finding Marvin Harrison Jr. for a long completion on Arizona's way to stunning the Chargers.
It was certainly eye-opening for the first time in his career that he was considered the true starter on his team. He is a team captain and has averaged about 280 passing
yards per game in his 13 starts with the Cardinals.
But we will see what he is made of this week facing perhaps the league's best defense in the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks this week.
