The Arizona Cardinals, facing some depth concerns in the defensive backfield, made some moves on their practice squad on Wednesday. With safety Kitan Crawford landing on injured reserve and cornerback Kalen King getting signed from the practice squad to the active roster, the Cardinals added two defensive backs.
They released receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette, giving them two spots to fill, and signed cornerback Art Green and safety Jerrick Reed II.
Green played the last two seasons for the New York Giants, appearing in 20 games. He played over 200 special teams snaps in both seasons.
Reed was a 2023 sixth-round draft pick of the Seattle Seahawks and has played for Seattle and the Tennessee Titans. In three seasons, he has appeared in 23 games, including
one start.
