The Arizona Cardinals made a few roster moves on Monday to add depth. Safety Rabbit Taylor-Demerson is day-to-day with a rib injury he suffered on Saturday against the Dallas Cowboys, so the Cardinals signed two safeties — Devyn Bobby and Hudson Clark.
Bobby, who is 5-11 and 198 pounds, is a rookie free agent who never signed with any team since going undrafted out of Baylor. He played four seasons there, playing in 50 games and starting 37. He finished his career with 248 total tackles, five tackles for loss, 14 passes defensed, four interceptions, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries. As a senior in 2025, Bobby ranked second on the team with 80 tackles while starting all 12 games.
Clark is six feet tall and 189 pounds. He last played
for the Birmingham Stallions in the UFL this year, where he had 15 tackles, an interception and two pass breakups.
Both tried out for the Cardinals earlier in the month.
The Cardinals needed to cut two players from the roster to make room for them. They cleared four spots:
- They placed receiver Xavier Weaver on injured reserve.
- They waived running back Trey Benson with an injury designation. He will revert to injured reserve if he goes unclaimed.
- They released receiver Bryson Green and tight end Baylor Cupp.
