What is the story about?

The top five players of the "NFL Top 100 Players of 2026" were revealed this past week. The NFC West was well represented, with three of the top five players playing in the Cardinals' division.

The top five, as voted on by NFL players, were:

No. 5 Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba
No. 4 Rams QB Matthew Stafford
No. 3 Falcons RB Bijan Robinson
No. 2 Bills QB Josh Allen
No. 1 Rams EDGE Myles Garrett

The Cardinals will face Garrett, Stafford and Smith-Njigba twice each. Garrett is the reigning Defensive Player of the Year. Stafford is the reigning league MVP, while Smith-Njigba is the reigning Offensive Player of the Year.

The Cardinals faced Robinson last season but will not this coming season. And because Allen is in the AFC East, the Cardinals haven't faced Allen and the Bills in while.
