It finally happened! The Arizona Cardinals are favored in a game. They were underdogs in their first two preseason contests, and they are underdogs in all 17 of their regular-season games currently, but they are the favorites in their preseason home game against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Cardinals and Cowboys kick off from State Farm Stadium on Saturday at 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. Arizona time).
The Cardinals lost in the Hall of Fame Game 33-30 to the Carolina Panthers, and then beat the Las Vegas Raiders last Thursday 27-14.
Let's look at the odds for the Cowboys-Cardinals game.
Cowboys at Cardinals preseason odds and lines
Moneyline
- Cowboys +105 (bet $100 to win $105)
- Cardinals -125 (bet $125 to win $100)
The Cardinals are slight favorites in this game to win outright. The odds suggest they are about 7% more likely to win the game than the Cowboys.
Spread
- Cowboys +1.5 (-110)
- Cardinals -1.5 (-110)
To win a Cardinals
ATS bet, they would have to win by at least two points. If the Cowboys win, tie or lose by only one point, a Cowboys ATS ticket cashes.
Total
- Over 37.5 (-105)
- Under 37.5 (-115)
The Over cashes if both teams combine to score 38 or more points. The Under cashes with 37 or fewer combined points.
The Cardinals' two preseason games have had totals of 63 and 41. The Cowboys' only preseason game so far had a total of 24 in their 17-7 over the Seattle Seahawks.
