The NFL preseason officially begins. The Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers face off in the Hall of Fame Game at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.
There are no Cardinals starters playing in the game. Roughly 35 players on their roster would not suit up.
Rookie Carson Beck makes the start at quarterback.

The Panthers received the opening kickoff and opened from the 25-yard line.
The Cardinals forced a three-and-out after Andrew Billings sacked Kenny Pickett on third down.
