The Arizona Cardinals are reportedly trading former No. 4 overall pick Marvin Harrison Jr. However, they are still in talks with multiple teams.
The most interesting part of this report is that, per ESPN's Adam Schefter
, while a deal has not been finalized with a specific team, the Cardinals know Harrison will be gone and are confident enough in that fact that Harrison has been told that he will be inactive on Sunday. So who is involved?
Per Schefter and Ian Rapoport, the Houston Texans are one team involved.
According to Pro Football Talk, the Texans are the likely destination. The Cardinals want a second-round pick in the 2027 draft, while the Texans are offering one in 2028.
One team not involved are the Indianapolis Colts, per Mike Chappell.
While the Colts made some calls and looked into Harrison, but they will not deal for him. Harrison's father, Marvin Harrison, had a Hall of Fame career for the Colts.
Other teams that could be involved are the Buffalo Bills or Philadelphia Eagles.
This is a strange report in the sense that NFL insiders almost always will have the teams involved. This information likely comes from Harrison's camp, as he was told he would not play on Sunday.
It will be something we continue to monitor.
