The Arizona Cardinals play in the Hall of Fame Game on Thursday against the Carolina Panthers, and the game will be televised nationally on NBC. That means, unlike most preseason games, there will be no home team TV broadcast. If you want to hear a team broadcast, you will have to listen to the radio.
That would normally have been Dave Pasch, but he stepped down from his role as play-by-play voice to work exclusively for ESPN. They hired J.P. Shadick, but he remains employed by the Jacksonville Jaguars until the end of this week.
That means that the game on Thursday will be called by Paul Calvisi, who has been a sideline reporter for the team, with A.Q Shipley as the analyst. Shipley took over for Ron Wolfley last year after Wolfley stepped down
after 20 years.
You will be able to hear the Cardinals' radio broadcast on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM. The game kicks off from Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. Arizona time).
