The Arizona Cardinals are now 1-2 on the season after a 36-30 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. It marked their eighth consecutive loss to an NFC West opponent, and the sixth straight time they allowed over 30 points to one.
That loss didn't drastically change the perception of them.
In new NFL power rankings for Week 4, USA TODAY's Nate Davis had the Cardinals falling two spots.
They went from 26th to 28th.
An update on WR Marvin Harrison Jr. − he ranks fifth on the team in targets (9). Woof. Send him to Indianapolis, where Harrisons thrive.
The production and usage of Harrison is just one of the Cardinals' problems. Their efficiency in the pass game resembles a run game.
Trey McBride has 17 catches for 116 yards in his last two games, averaging 6.8
yards per reception, which is awful.
Receiver Michael Wilson had 11 catches on Sunday, but for only 89 yards. He has averaged 8.2 yards per reception over the last two games.
The defense can't stop anyone except the awful LA Chargers.
Their next opponent, the New York Giants, are ranked 23rd but fell from 17th the previous week. But the Giants don't have their starting quarterback or top pass rusher.
