The San Francisco had to deal with yet another injury to the wide receiver room on Sunday. Against the Arizona Cardinals, Mike Evans left the game in the first half and was unable to return.
He was questionable for the game with a hip injury, but suited up and played. He had three receptions for 34 yards and a touchdown in the first half against the Cardinals, and on his first catch, he lateraled the ball to Deebo Samuel, who ran 80 yards for a touchdown. However, on his third catch, he injured his ribs and had to be carted to the locker room.
After halftime, it was announced Evans would not return.
