The Arizona Cardinals will face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. On Saturday, when roster moves could be made before the game, for the second straight week, they made none. They did not elevate anyone from the practice squad.
The only player who was ruled out with an injury was safety Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, who has a back injury. The Cardinals are lean on safety depth, as rookie Wydett Williams is the only healthy safety on the roster after starters Budda Baker and Andrew Wingard, but cornerbacks Kei'Trel Clark and Garrett Williams are able to play some safety.
Cornerback Max Melton is questionable to play with a toe injury, and Will Johnson landed on injured reserve, but even if Melton can't play, the Cardinals have Denzel Burke, Williams,
Clark, Star Thomas and Kalen King. With no other practice squad moves, it would suggest that Melton is probably good to go.
The 49ers made a few moves, adding three defensive linemen to the active roster. They signed defensive lineman Viliami Fehoko from the practice squad and elevated defensive linemen Kevin Givens and Sebastian Valdez.
They also placed receiver Demarcus Robinson, ruled out with an ankle injury, on injured reserve.
