The Arizona Cardinals made two more roster moves on Tuesday. On Monday, they cleared the roster of four players and added two, leaving two vacancies. They filled them on Tuesday.
They signed punter Jack Browning and safety Josh Minkins.
Browning had tryouts with the Cardinals before training camp began and last year in October.
Browning punted and handled kickoff duties for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2024 for five games. Last played in the UFL for the Orlando Storm. He averaged 48.5 yards per punt and had 11 punts downed inside the 20 in 11 games.
He will handle punting duties this week in the team's joint practice with the Green Bay Packers and their preseason finale against the Packers on Friday, as Blake Gillikin is out with a groin injury.
Minkins also played for the Storm in the UFL. He played in seven games and had 32 total tackles, three pass breakups and one fumble recovery.
Dadrion Taylor-Demerson has a rib injury. Budda Baker, Andrew Wingard and Kitan Crawford likely will not play on Friday, so Minkins gives them another safety along with Isaiah Oliver, Wydett Williams, Devyn Bobby and Hudson Clark to get through the preseason finale. Williams was examined for a concussion on Saturday, so he might be in protocol.
