The frustrating rookie season for Arizona Cardinals running back Jeremiyah Love continues. He got hurt again on Sunday in the first quarter against the Dallas Cowboys.
Love, on the last play of the first quarter, had a three-yard run, but as he was tackled, his right foot was twisted around. He remained on teh ground briefly, jumped up, limped off the field and was examined by trainers. He went into the injury tent and, as the first quarter expired, he threw his helmet down in frustration, as he appeared to suffer another ankle injury, his third since the start of the preseason.
Love returned to the lineup against the Cowboys after sitting out two games with a left ankle sprain.
He suffered a right high ankle sprain in the preseason.
Through one
quarter before the injury, Love had 23 yards on nine rushing attempts with a long of six yards.
He was taken to the locker room in the second quarter.
