The Arizona Cardinals will face the Los Angeles Rams this weekend on the road. They will face a slightly weakened Rams offensive line.
The NFL announced on Tuesday that Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson was suspended for two games after he punched Buffalo Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb after the Bills beat the Rams 37-34 in overtime.
That means they will turn to journeyman veteran David Quessenberry to protect quarterback Matthew Stafford back side. Quessenberry has been in the NFL since 2013, when he was drafted in the sixth round by the Houston Texans, but he didn't play his first NFL game until 2017.
He has played in 102 NFL games, but he has started 30 and hasn't started a game since 2023.
Of course, the Cardinals haven't had much of an edge presence
this season, as Josh Sweat, Zaven Collins, Baron Browning and Jordan Burch each have only one sack, but this potentially gives them the opportunity to do more. Stafford has been sacked 1 or fewer times in four of the Rams' five games this season, but he was sacked four times against the Denver Broncos.
This will be one of the matchups to watch this weekend.
The Cardinals and Rams kick off Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET (1:05 p.m. Arizona time) at SoFi Stadium.
