The Arizona Cardinals have not won two consecutive games since starting last season 2-0. They have a chance to win their second straight game today against the Denver Broncos.
To do that, what must happen?
These are the Cardinals' Week 7 keys to victory.
Repeat performance of defense
After four consecutive weeks of the defense allowing at least 30 points, the defense had their best game of the year last week against the LA Rams. Denver's offense has struggled this season. DC Nick Rallis and his players must be as effective against the Broncos as they were against the Rams.
They can't allow Bo Nix to make plays late the game. He has led game-winning drives in all four of Denver's wins this season.
Fix red-zone issues
The Cardinals kicked six field goals in Week 6 and won. However, they can't afford
to go 0-for-5 in the red zone again.
Don't turn the ball over
Jacoby Brissett has thrown five interceptions in his last three games and has thrown at least one in three straight games. The Broncos have forced 10 turnovers this season, and have forced three in each of their last two games.
