Former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray made his Minnesota Vikings regular-season debut on Sunday. Hoping to bounce back from how things ended with Arizona, his debut didn't go well.
His first pass attempt was intercepted and, after only 11 snaps, he was hit in the head on a rushing attempt when he was trying to get down, and he exited the game with a concussion.
He is currently in concussion protocol.
He completed 3 of 5 passes for 18 yards and a pick, and he rushed twice for nine yards.
The Vikings won the game, beating the Green Bay Packers 39-22, but it was Carson Wentz who did the damage for the Vikings, throwing three touchdown passes in 19 pass attempts.
For Cardinals fans interested in Murray's play throughout the season, it was
good news for some and bad news for others.
Some are rooting for Murray to succeed. Others would like to see him fail, justifying the team getting rid of him.
We will give weekly updates on his play.
