head coach Mike Macdonald for his defensive mastermind, but after totaling just 10 first downs through 47 plays on offense, criticism for the Cardinals' coaching staff is very much so necessary.

Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett did not eclipse 100 yards passing on the afternoon and spent many of his snaps under pressure from the Seahawks pass rush. Hackett's proclivity for 11-personnel did not fool Macdonald and the fiesty Seahawks defense refused to relent. Perhaps Hackett might consider abandoning the same offensive scheme

that failed both with the Denver Broncos, and New York Jets in recent years. The statistics simply don't lie, and seeing that the Cardinals converted on just three of their twelve third-down attempts should be a strong indicator for LaFleur and Hackett.

Brissett's lone interception seems to be a result of utter frustration, a toss of aimless hope as he attempted to ignite the team offense. Cardinals running back Jeremiyah Love had just nine carries for 29 yards, yet Brissett had 28 passing attempts and completed only 17 passes. Not only did Hackett fail to produce any offensive plays of significance, the Cardinals averaged just 2.7 yards per pass play.

Ultimately, the talent is on the Cardinals roster and defensive coordinator Nick Rallis held his own in the first half. Yet, Hackett and LaFleur were unable to summon anything explosive through the final 45 minutes of gameplay leaving Rallis and the defense out to dry. Hopefully, drastic changes will be made by the Cardinals' offensive coaching staff because the franchise will be forced to face the Seahawks again, as well as a plethora of other NFC West opponents with heavier offensive firepower.
