The Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers will play each other Sunday afternoon in Santa Clara. The 49ers made a series of roster moves to address their depth.
They added three defensive linemen from the practice squad to the active roster.
Receiver Demarcus Robinson, who injured his ankle last week, was placed on injured reserve.
To replace Robinson, they signed defensive lineman Viliami Fehoko Jr. from the practice squad. They also used two standed elevations from the practice squad — Kevin Givens and Sebastian Valdez
The 49ers have a lot of injuries on the defensive line. Nick Bosa, Romello Height and James Thompson were ruled out with injuries. They have six defensive linemen — Alfred Collins, Andrew Farmer, Mikail Kamara, Sam Okuayinonu
and C.J. West — on injured reserve.
The 49ers now have the following defensive linemen on the active roster for the game against the Cardinals:
Defensive tackle
- Osa Odighizuwa
- Gracen Halton
- Naquan Jones
- Kevin Givens
- Sebastian Valdez
Defensive end
- Keion White
- Khalid Kareem
- Ogbo Okoronkwo
- Viliami Fehoko Jr.
