The Arizona Cardinals are now preparing for the Seattle Seahawks for their Week 2 home opener. They released their second depth chart of the season.
Nothing changed. No one has come off the roster, and no rotations changed. However, we have a few observations based on what we saw in the playing time in Week 1.
Cardinals Week 2 depth chart: Offense
Quarterback
- Jacoby Brissett
- Gardner Minshew
- Carson Beck
Nothing changes here.

The playing time on Sunday indicated this holds pretty true.

- Marvin Harrison Jr.
- Jalen Brooks
'Z'
- Michael Wilson
- Simi Fehoko
- Reggie Virgil
Slot
- Kendrick Bourne
- Devin Duvernay
The receivers were used as expected.

- Hunter Long
Long actually played six more snaps than Higgins against the Chargers.

- Paris Johnson
- Josh Fryar

- Isaac Seumalo
- Hayden Conner
Center
- Hjalte Froholdt
- Jon Gaines
Right guard

Cardinals Week 2 depth chart: Defense
Defensive line
Left defensive tackle
- Dante Stills
- Darius Robinson
Nose tackle
- Roy Lopez
- Andrew Billings
Right defensive tackle
- Walter Nolen
- L.J. Collier
The playing time held true. Billings was inactive
as a healthy scratch.
Outside linebacker
Strong side
- Zaven Collins or Baron Browning
Weak side
- Josh Sweat
- Jordan Burch
- Eku Leota
Browning actually started instead of Collins. Collins and Browning played the same number of snaps in the game.
Inside linebacker
Mike
- Mack Wilson
- Cody Simon
Mo
- Jack Gibbens
- Karson Sharar
Simon and Sharar only played on special teams. Previously, it was suggested that Gibbens and Simon might both play and rotate.
Cornerback
One side
- Will Johnson
- Kei'Trel Clark
Other side
- Max Melton
Nickel
- Denzel Burke
- Garrett Williams
This held true.
Safety
Strong safety
- Budda Baker
- Dadrion Taylor-Demerson
Free safety
- Andrew Wingard
- Kitan Crawford
- Wydett Williams
There is nothing surprising here. However, Taylor-Demerson didn't play, so Crawford played a little bit on defense.

Kicker
- Chad Ryland
Punter/holder
- Blake Gillikin
Long snapper
- Casey Kreiter
Kick returner
- Devin Duvernay
