The Arizona Cardinals announced a pair of roster moves on Saturday ahead of their Sunday game in Week 8 against the Dallas Cowboys. There is good news for their offensive line.
Center Hjalte Froholdt appears all right to play on Sunday, despite being questionable with a knee injury.
How do we know?
They didn't elevate an offensive lineman to the active roster.
The Cardinals elevated tight end Kenny Yeboah and defensive lineman Jared Harrison-Hunte.
Yeboah's elevation gives the Cardinals four tight ends available with Trey McBride, Elijah Higgins and Teagan Quitoriano. Yeboah will likely play only on special teams.
Harrison-Hunte was elevated last week and played against the Denver Broncos. Walter Nolen has an ankle injury and has been ruled out for
the second straight week.
With Froholdt presumably good to play, their starters for the offensive line will be left tackle Jayden Williams, left guard Isaac Seumalo, Froholdt at center, right guard Hayden Conner and right tackle Elijah Wilkinson. That leaves Jedrick Wills, Josh Fryar, Albert Reese and Kingsley Eguakun available.
Because they have four reserve linemen, it is possible that Froholdt could still miss the game. That would mean Conner would play center and Fryar would likely start at right guard, with Eguakun, Reese and Wills as reserves.
