The Arizona Cardinals have a big division game for the second straight week. Now at 1-1, they face the undefeated San Francisco 49ers. The Cardinals beat the LA Chargers in Week 1 26-14 but then were blown out in their home opener in Week 2 by the Seattle Seahawks 31-7. They managed only 151 yards of total offense.
The 49ers beat the LA Rams 28-7 in Australia in Week 1 and then blew out the Miami Dolphins 35-13 last week. Quarterback Brock Purdy is the reigning NFC Offensive Player of the Week, and has accounted for six touchdowns in two games (five passing, one rushing).
The Cardinals have lost six of their last eight games to the 49ers and are riding a seven-game losing streak against the NFC West. They have lost their last five division games by
at least 17 points.
