The Arizona Cardinals won't face the Washington Commanders for a few more weeks, but there is some news that will impact that matchup. The Commanders' top wide receiver, Terry McLaurin, suffered a season-ending knee injury on Monday against the San Francisco 49ers.
He tore his patellar tendon and will miss the rest of the season.
The Cardinals will face the Commanders at home in Week 12. McLaurin has five 1,000-yard seasons. This year, he had 15 receptions for 230 yards and a touchdown in five games.
In three career games against the Cardinals, McLaurin has caught 16 passes for 208 yards and two touchdowns.
His absence will impact how the Cardinals defend Washington. They will now have to turn their attention to Stephon Diggs and Antonio Williams.
