The Arizona Cardinals announced a slew of roster moves on Tuesday, and that included several on their practice squad. They have three new faces after signing one who was on the practice squad to the active roster and releasing another two.
With tight end Hunter Long landing on injured reserve with a knee injury, tight end Teagan Quitoriano was signed from the practice squad to the active roster. The Cardinals also released cornerback D'Shawn Jamison and offensive lineman Vershon Lee from the practice squad.
That cleared three spots for the Cardinals to add new players.
They announced the following signings to the practice squad:
- TE Kenny Yeboah
- OL Austin Deculus
- S Mark Perry
Yeboah was with the Cardinals in the offseason and training camp but got hurt and was placed on injured reserve before
being waived with an injury settlement. He hasn't played since 2024. He played four seasons for the New York Jets from 2021-2024. Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur was the Jets' offensive coordinator for two of those seasons.
Deculus tried out for the Cardinals last month. He is a fifth-year veteran drafted in the sixth round in 2022. He spent three seasons with the Houston Texans and last season with the Chargers. He has played in 26 games and has six career starts, including five last season for the Chargers.
Perry has yet to play a game in the NFL. He is six feet tall and 211 pounds. He spent the preseason with the Green Bay Packers and has previously been on the practice squads of the Packers, Houston Texans and New England Patriots in his NFL career. He entered the league with Miami in 2024 as an undrafted rookie free agent from TCU.
