The Arizona Cardinals and the rest of the NFL made roster cuts on Sunday, trimming their rosters to 53 players. The roster work is not yet done, though.
For players with under four credited seasons, they must go through the waiver period. Teams may claim players who were waived and, if awarded, must place them on their active roster, which means cutting or moving another player.
The Cardinals are high in the waiver priority order. It is based on this year's original draft order. They are No. 3, which means they will be awarded any player they claim, as long as the Las Vegas Raiders or New York Jets don't also claim him.

The waiver period ends at noon ET, so later this morning, Cardinals fans will know whether or not the team was awarded any players.
