The Arizona Cardinals take on the Los Angeles Rams today in Week 6. The game at SoFi Stadium kicks off at 4:05 p.m. ET (1:05 p.m. Arizona time). Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love has been dealing with a lingering ankle injury.
After recovering from a preseason high ankle sprain, Love tweaked his other ankle, and while he hasn't missed any games, he has been dealing with the injury for weeks. He was limited in practices leading up to the Cardinals' Week 5 game against the Detroit Lions, and he did not practice this past week.
Is Jeremiyah Love playing today?
After sitting out practice all week, head coach Mike LaFleur said on Friday that Love wouldn't play against the Rams. He needs to rest. He is listed as officially out for the game against the Rams.
How long is Jeremiyah Love out?
There has been
no official timetable. He is day-to-day and week-to-week. LaFleur said that there hasn't been any discussion about putting him on injured reserve, which would sideline him for at least four games.
They will reevaluate how he feels on Monday and have a plan for Week 7.
