The Ducks have veered off course in a manner that many would not have predicted heading into the season. Oregon will not officially have to navigate the rest of the season withoutstarting quarterback Dante Moore, who will not make a return to the field after suffering a concussion against USC.
Oregon's offense has notably sputtered throughout the month of October, having scored 17 points or less in three straight games. It'll be interesting to see if they can dial it up against a Northwestern team who has been scoring points in bunches the last few weeks.

Northwestern vs. Oregon prediction, pick:
Wildcats quarterback
Aidan Chiles leads the Big Ten in completion percentage, as he's moved the chains by completing over 71% of his passes. Chiles has also been a force on the ground, rushing for nine touchdowns this season.
These are the type of numbers that Oregon fans likely would have expected from Moore, but are now in a quandary having to pick from Dylan Raiola and Brock Thomas moving forward, without any expectation for the type of play they'll get under center week in and week out.
Oregon's defense can still make life miserable for teams, especially with the pass rush Matayo Uiagalelei brings to the table, but the Wildcats are getting points in this game and might actually be the better team.
Prediction: Northwestern 28, Oregon 20
