Every game is a must-win for the Oregon Ducks at this point of the season, and they will be without one of their top players on Saturday against the Ohio State Buckeyes.
According to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, starting running back Jordon Davison is expected to miss the game with a "lower extremity injury." The good news is that it is not expected to be a long-term injury, with Zenitz saying he is essentially week-to-week.
Davison is Oregon's leading rusher, with 91 carries for 439 yards and seven touchdowns. Dierre Hill Jr. has been Oregon's No. 2 running back all year, carrying the ball 83 times for 399 yards and three touchdowns. However, he was limited to just four carries in last week's win over the Northwestern Wildcats, and they relied
on Brandon Smith.
The freshman had the best game of his young career, carrying the ball eight times for 82 yards and a touchdown in his fourth appearance of the season. Oregon will release its initial availability report on Wednesday night, providing more clarity on Davison and Hill.

On a positive note, it’s considered a short-term injury and a week-to-week type situation, per sources. pic.twitter.com/W0MCLESIGF
