The Mountaineers haven't won a Big 12 game this season, but it doesn't mean West Virginia isn't exciting to watch. Thanks to an explosive offense and suspect defense, every West Virginia game has legitimate shootout potential, as evidenced by the spiked over/under total for this game.
Arizona's offense isn't one to be slept on, either. Quarterback Noah Fifita leads the Big 12 in touchdown passes, yards and completion percentage so far this season. This figures to be a track meet that could come down to who has the ball last.

Arizona vs. West Virginia prediction, pick:
Unfortunately for the Wildcats, they enter
this game without their top weapon through the air. Wide receiver Tre Spivey will missthe rest of the season with a broken foot, and it's a big loss moving forward. With that said, Fifita has done a great job spreading the ball around, as five Wildcats have at least 10 catches this season.
For the Mountaineers, their ground attack has been pretty difficult to contain. Running back Cam Cook leads the Big 12 in rushing yards with 652, and quarterback Michael Hawkins Jr. has rushed for an astounding 11 touchdowns so far this season.
There's no reason to push back on the notion that this game will light up the scoreboard, as fans should embrace the firepower in this game. Taking the over, and West Virginia as a home underdog would be wise.
Prediction: West Virginia 44, Arizona 38
