Week 0 and Week 1 can feature a ton of contests that are essentially over after opening kickoff, but the primetime matchup between Colorado and Georgia Tech doesn't figure to be one of them.

Perhaps the most interesting angle for this game involves Colorado quarterback Julian Lewis, who
reportedlyhad interest in transferring to Georgia Tech this offseason after his freshman campaign with the Buffaloes.
The sophomore played four games for Deion Sanders last season, throwing for 589 yards and four touchdowns. Lewis has a massive opportunity, and perhaps a ton of pressure to perform against a Yellow Jackets team that he might have wanted to join.
Georgia Tech lost quarterback Haynes King to the NFL, who became an August darling after his Hall of Fame Game performance for the Carolina Panthers. King's departure is truly a massive one for the Yellow Jackets, as he was actually the fourth leading rusher in the ACC last year for all players, not just quarterbacks.
Enter Alberto Mendoza, who won a title last year at Indiana, watching his brother Fernando lead the way. The younger Mendoza has only thrown 25 career passes, so he is largely an unknown as well for Georgia Tech.
With so much uncertainty, expect this game to be a compelling one deep into the second half, with the Buffaloes having a legitimate chance to pull off the upset.
