Although things got a little dicey for the Golden Gophers as the Huskies mounted a fourth quarter comeback, Minnesota did just enough to hold on.
On the other side, Michigan is reeling from a last-second defeat against Iowa last week. The Hawkeyes completed a touchdown pass with no time remaining to send the Wolverines to their first loss of the season, even though some might argue the Wolverines have technically lost twice.

The Wolverines have been bolstered by the performance of their exceptional defense, and since defense travels, we can expect Minnesota to have a tough time moving the ball as well.
In what is expected to be a close game, Michigan could establish the line of scrimmage better than they have in weeks as their offensive line continues to get healthy. They'll need all the help they can get, as Minnesota limited Washington's leading rusher to just 23 yards.
Expect this game to come down to a crucial turnover or special teams play. For what it's worth, Golden Gophers kicker Luke Drzewiecki drilled a 51-yard field goal to keep a two-score lead in the fourth quarter last week, and might be called upon to make another big kick this week. With that said, the Wolverines should come out hungry given how last week ended.
