The eyes of the nation will be on Oxford, Mississippi, on Saturday night as Lane Kiffin tries to beat his former team when LSU faces Ole Miss. However, the Tigers may be without their starting quarterback in that game.
Sam Leavitt was listed as doubtful for Week 3 as he deals with an unspecified injury. That injury presumably occurred in the Louisiana Tech game, though Leavitt did not exit until the backups came in during the fourth quarter.
It would be a significant loss for the Tigers. Leavitt has thrown for 574 yards with two touchdowns in two games, though he does have four interceptions — three of which came in the first half of the win over the Bulldogs. He has been very impactful with his legs, however, and has 135 yards and five touchdowns on the ground
so far.

If Leavitt is unable to go, backup Landen Clark would likely get the nod. The Elon transfer was the CAA Co-Offensive Rookie of the Year last season, and in two games, he has completed seven of 10 passes for 109 yards and a touchdown.
The Tigers also have Husan Longstreet, a former five-star recruit and transfer from USC, who completed his only pass in his lone appearance against Clemson for 33 yards.
