Now, they hit the road to take on the Oklahoma Sooners (3-2, 1-1 SEC), who have struggled so far this season but got a massive win last week against Texas on a walk-off field goal in the Red River Rivalry.

The value proposition with Oklahoma is clear: This is an elite
defense, and it proved that last week. It's likely in for a tougher challenge this week against a Kentucky offense that is about it up front, runs the ball well and has seen some big-time play from quarterback Kenny Minchey.
The 'Cats haven't played a defense quite like this, but it's an option question how much its own middling defense will struggle here against an Oklahoma offese loaded with issues. The offensive line isn't very good, so the run game is struggling, and John Mateer continues to make mistakes.
Those issues weren't fixed in the win last week, and it's why I doubt that success carries over here. I'm a little surprised Oklahoma is favored at all, let alone by this much, but I'll take the points.
