The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders (4-4, 2-2 CUSA) are having a surprisingly successful season, though they did see their two-game losing streak snapped their last time out with a decisive home loss against Kennesaw State. Now, they have another winnable home game against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (3-5, 2-2 CUSA).
WKU had some major struggles earlier in the season, but it has since won three of its last five. It is also coming off a loss, however, which came against Delaware.

have had their fair share of problems this season, but if there's one thing to like, it's Middle Tennessee's passing game with Roman Gagliano, who has been solid this season. WKU quarterback Brock Glenn is struggling through the air but has at least been a factor with his legs, which could give the Hilltoppers something against a Blue Raider run defense that has struggled.
This could be a pretty good matchup given the fact that the one thing Western Kentucky's defense does pretty well is defend the pass, but I still just think MTSU is the better team. At home, I'll take them plus the points
