The Texas A&M Aggiesare still reeling from a brutal home loss to the Kentucky Wildcatsover the weekend, and they got dealt some tough injury news to go with it.
On Monday afternoon, it was announced that wide receiver Terry Bussey, one of the promising young pass-catchers on the roster, was going to miss the rest of the season after suffering a lower-body injury early in Saturday's game against the Wildcats.
Bussey is a former 5-star recruit who was rated as the No. 11 overall player in the 2024 recruiting class, and while he struggled to have a massive impact early in his career — Bussey had just 35 catches for 411 yards and one TD through his first two seasons — there was a hope that he could finally reach his ceiling this season in College
Station.

Bussey was injured on the opening kickoff of Texas A&M's game against Kentucky, was unable to put any weight on his leg, and was carted off the field.
Bussey was also Texas A&M's primary punt and kick returner, averaging 16.0 yards on two punt returns and 14.3 yards on three kickoff returns. Mario Craver is the only other Aggie to return a punt this year, averaging 6.8 yards on four attempts.
