The biggest game of the week in the Big 12 takes place in Houston on Saturday night.
We're set for a ranked showdown between the Houston Cougars (5-1, 2-1 Big 12), which have won three games in a row since their frustrating two-point loss to Texas Tech last month, and the Oklahoma State Cowboys (4-1, 2-0 Big 12). The Cowboys are on a four-game winning streak since their season-opening loss to Tulsa, which looks pretty baffling in retrospect.

This should be a fun one between two teams doing a lot of good things on offense. Conner Weigman has been fantastic for Houston
this season, and he's making an impact with his legs in addition to his 15-to-1 touchdown to interception ratio. The defense isn't nearly as good, though it has been successful against the run.
The Cowboys, meanwhile, have been fantastic offensively after Week 1 thanks to the trio of North Texas transfers in Drew Mestemaker, Caleb Hawkins and Wyatt Young. The defense has also been pretty good, though it did give up 28 points and four passing touchdowns last week against a struggling UCF offense.
This should be a good game, but I do think I trust what Houston has shown me so far a little bit more, especially at home.
