Rumors of a massive flip for Lane Kiffin and the LSU Tigers continue to heat up.
The Tigers have been aggressively pursuing five-star Texas receiver commit Easton Royal, a New Orleans prospect who has been pledged to the Longhorns since November. While Royal has held firm in his commitment to Texas, he has also taken multiple trips to LSU.
It seems Kiffin's squad may have the momentum here now, and on Thursday, Rivals' Sam Spiegelman put in a prediction for the Tigers to flip Royal from their conference rival. It was a moderately high-confidence prediction, with Spiegelman giving it 65% confidence.

Royal is the No. 1 receiver prospect in the 2027 class and the No. 5 overall player nationally, according to Rivals' rankings. He officially visited both schools over the summer, and it seems this battle may continue into the season.
