Week 10 of the College Football season has a loaded slate on the docket. After a Halloween weekend full of upsets, this week could be another crazy one. The UNC Tar Heels are looking for a rebound win against the UConn Huskies.
UNC (4-4) suffered a heartbreaking 38-35 loss to Miami. They could've won against the No. 1 team if they had one more stop, one less fumble, or one more onside kick. The Tar Heels look significantly better this season than last season, but they've had some missed opportunities in games here and there that have prevented them from being bowl-eligible already.
UConn (4-4) has had some close losses as well. They gave up a game-winning field goal against Miami (OH) to lose 24-21, gave up a two-point conversion on an overtime
touchdown to lose 42-41, and gave up a 19-play, 75-yard drive down 28-26 to lose 35-26 against Air Force.
If you are looking for some betting advice for the matchup, we've got you covered. Here are the latest odds for the game, courtesy of BetMGM.

UNC vs. UConn prediction, pick:
The UNC offense was firing on all cylinders against Miami, but that hasn't been the norm for UNC. Their offense is average. Their running game still hasn't established itself this season, averaging just 3.3 yards per carry (No. 119) and 100.4 yards per game (No. 123). It will most likely be the Billy Edwards show, with both the turnovers and the splash plays.
UConn's offense has looked more consistent, albeit against weaker competition. Kailib Osborne has been the heart and soul of the offense, averaging 273.4 yards a game through the air and on the ground. That could be worrisome for a North Carolina defense that allows opponents to convert 44.2% of their third downs.
Still, I feel like Edwards should keep UNC in the game and they are trustworthy in late-game situations. Give me the Tar Heels with UConn covering.
