Tennessee State, on the other hand, can't afford to look that far into the future. The Tigers are focused on the here and now, and their recent past includes a disappointing 26-24 defeat against Jackson State last week.

threw for 265 yards and a touchdown, and rushed for another 40 yards and another score, but it wasn't enough.
Despite the competitive performance the Tigers displayed last week, it's hard to imagine that they'll be able to stay close to Georgia for any meaningful stretch of time. Tennessee State finished last in the FCS' Ohio Valley Conference a year ago, and posted a 2-10 overall record.
Expect the Bulldogs to bulldoze their way through their first opponent on their way to preparing for Week 2.
