The Cincinnati Bearcats (4-1, 1-1 Big 12) had a bye after that loss, and they'll look to get back on track on the road against a West Virginia Mountaineers (3-3, 0-3 Big 12) team that started strong but has since lost three games in a row to begin Big 12 play, giving up more than 40 points in all three of those losses.

Cincinnati doesn't ask a lot of quarterback JC French, but he's taking care of the football
and hasn't thrown a pick this season. That has allowed the offense to be successful behind a solid run game led by Gi'Bran Payne, but the Bearcats defense is what scares me in this matchup.
It struggles against the run, which is bad news against a West Virginia team that runs the ball exceptionally well with Cam Cook and quarterback Michael Hawkins. That offense hasn't been enough to win games for the Mountaineers, however, given major struggles from a defense that's allowing more than 30 points per game and nearly 300 yards per game through the air.
This one should be high-scoring; I just trust Cincinnati to get more stops, even on the road.
