The Utah Utes (5-0, 2-0 Big 12) are unblemished to start the season, though they did have a bit of a close call at home against Kansas last week in the first half before ultimately pulling away to win 41-24. They'll go to Boulder to face the Colorado Buffaloes (2-3, 0-2 Big 12) who are in the midst of another rough campaign.
The Buffs lost by 10 to Baylor and 22 to Texas Tech to begin conference play, and this could be its toughest matchup of the season to this point.

The biggest issue for Colorado this season has been that its offense is a mess once again. After a disappointing start to the season, Julian Lewis was benched for Utah transfer Isaac Wilson, though he hasn't been much better and threw three picks in the loss to the Red Raiders.
Colorado's defense has at least been very good, particularly against the run, though this game will test it. The Utes have a deadly offense between a very good returning quarterback in Devon Dampier and a productive run game led by Waymond Parker.
Utah's defense is also playing at a high level right now, and its physical style of football makes this feel like a nightmare matchup for a freefalling Colorado team.
