The victory against the Dukes really opened some eyes, as Mountaineers quarterbacks Malachi Singleton and Henry Hasselbeck threw for a combined 285 yards and three touchdowns. On the other side, Georgia Southern is coming off their bye, and beat Old Dominion 23-15 in their last game.

Interestingly, Georgia Southern has also deployed rushing quarterback Weston Bryan a decent amount, as he leads the team with five rushing touchdowns.
Despite the strong play of Appalachian State's quarterbacks, they would not be where they are right now without the contributions of running back Jaquari Lewis. Lewis has rushed for 420 yards and eight touchdowns.
This should be a highly competitive contest that is decided in the final two minutes, and there are a few different ways to play it from a betting standpoint. Given that Appalachian State is getting points, and have found ways to win in each of their last two games, it would make sense to lean in that direction for a confident play.
