We may be less than two weeks from the start of the 2026 season, but that doesn't mean it's too late to add to your roster.
Auburn
saw a late addition to its receiving corps under first-year head coach Alex Golesh, signing former Troy wideout Tray Taylor. A member of the class of 2022, Taylor was among the players who received a fifth season of eligibility thanks to a federal judge's ruling in Colorado.AL.com reported that Taylor has not yet been cleared to practice with the Tigers, though that is expected to change soon.
A Shreveport, Louisiana, native who began his career at Tyler Junior College in Texas, Taylor caught 18 passes for 262 yards in 2024 at Coastal Carolina. He transferred to Troy in 2025, where he was even more productive. He caught 30
passes for 499 yards and three touchdowns for the season.

He also added 55 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Taylor will likely serve as a depth piece for the Tigers this fall, but he brings key experience to a transfer-heavy wideout group that was almost entirely imported from South Florida along with Golesh.
