The Texas Tech Red Raiders (5-0, 2-0 Big 12) had a battle against Houston but have mostly rolled to begin the season, and they're coming off a bye that followed a dominant win over Colorado. Now, they play host to the Arizona State Sun Devils (3-2, 1-1 Big 12), who were blown out by Baylor in their last conference game but bounced back with a convincing win over Hawaii last week.

Texas Tech does seem to have taken a step back this season, particularly on offense. Quarterback Will Hammond
as thrown as many picks as touchdowns, and the run game hasn't been very reliable. Arizona State's defense, the strength of its team, could challenge that, but I don't trust the Devs' offense.
Quarterback Cutter Boley has struggled outside of the FCS game, while the run game has also taken a hit without Raleek Brown. Texas Tech's defense remains one of the nation's best, and I'm not sure Arizona State will get much going against it.
Considering the Sun Devils' relatively good defense also struggled mightily against Baylor, it may get exposed again a bit here.
