The New York Jets endured their most difficult afternoon of the 2026 season in Week 4, falling 23-12 to the Chicago Bears in a game that exposed some of the team's lingering problems. New York managed just 157 total yards, was held to seven first downs, and struggled to generate any consistent rhythm offensively, while Chicago controlled the game for much of the afternoon.
There were still individual performances worth examining, particularly on a defense that forced two turnovers and finally ended the Jets' long interception drought. Minkah Fitzpatrick recorded New York's first interception of the season in his return from injury, while Jamien Sherwood forced a fumble that Brandon Stephens recovered.
Still, there were also performances that Pro
Football Focus believes left much to be desired. Before everyone turns the page toward Week 5, let's take one final look at the Jets' most recent performance through PFF's lens. Here are the lowest-graded players on the defensive side of the ball, providing another perspective on where New York struggled against Chicago and which areas need to improve.
