The New York Jets went down the drain last week against the Chicago Bears in a 23-12 loss that saw little promise on offense.
That is, except for their offensive line.
Despite the Jets (1-3) struggling on offense and failing to stay on the field, Pro Football Focus has provided some good news. New York's offensive line has moved up four spots in their weekly NFL O-line rankings after that loss.
Overall, the Jets' offensive line now sits at No. 15 overall in the NFL:
LT: Olu FashanuLG: Dylan ParhamC: Josh MyersRG: Joe TippmanRT: Armand Membou
If you are looking for a reason for why the Jets have been more competitive than many expected early in 2026, look no further than the offensive line. All five starters have yielded PFF grades above 60.0, including
offensive tackles Olu Fashanu and Armand Membou — who have allowed 11 and eight pressures from 145 and 144 pass-blocking snaps, respectively. Left guard Dylan Parham leads the unit with an 88.7 PFF grade, though he missed the Week 4 loss to the Chicago Bears and is currently week-to-week.
For those curious, the Jets next play the Cleveland Browns (3-1) at MetLife Stadium and their offensive line has taken a jump up on PFF's rankings too. However, it does not pale in comparison to Gang Green's play in the trenches as the Browns sit at No. 28 overall entering Week 5.
Jets Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2026 NFL season.
