Chicago Bears linebacker Devin Bush added insult to injury as the New York Jets left Solider Field with a brutal loss to his team in Week 4.
The Jets (1-3) fell 23-12 to the Bears (1-3) on Sunday. It was mostly because of a brutal showing from New York's offense. There is one stat that tells the whole story.
The Bears had 34 first downs in the game. The Jets only ran 32 plays on offense.
That is awful.
In reacting to that, Bush came in with a haymaker. Bush did not seem to mean to rub the Jets' nose in how poorly they played and was more so complimenting his own teammates on offense... but he certainly did that.
Bush called Week 4 "one of the easiest games" he ever played in. He went on to say he was bored during the game.
Ouch.
