The New York Jets are going to be without Breece Hall until the start of the 2026 NFL regular season... hopefully.
Ahead of facing the Pittsburgh Steelers in their second preseason contest, Hall went down with a non-contact injury while running with the ball. When an injury does not involve being hit, the worst is feared. Sometimes that means it is an ACL injury or something that is season-ending magnitude.
Initially, New York head coach Aaron Glenn confirmed the issue was not a long-term problem. Glenn did indicated Hall would need to get further tests done and now he has.
According to the coach on Tuesday, Hall is set to missed two-to-three weeks with a groin injury.
Bare minimum, Hall is out for the remainder of the preseason. Once the regular
season is around the corner, keep Hall in mind and his status. In just under a month on Sept. 13, the Jets start their 2026 campaign on the road against the Tennessee Titans.
Hall is fresh off his first-career 1,000-yard rushing year in 2025 with the Jets. A bullet was potentially dodged by the Jets with Hall.
