The New York Jets have their sights on facing the Detroit Lions in their upcoming Week 3 matchup.
However, it's hard to overlook this one.
After facing the Lions (1-1), the Jets (1-1) stay in the NFC North. The Chicago Bears (1-1) are on the slate in Week 4 and they were involved one of the top NFL headlines this past weekend.
Chicago's starting quarterback in Caleb Williams sustained a nasty looking injury... but as it turns out, it might not be that bad. Onlookers were thinking season-ending injury because of Williams' reaction.
Regardless, what matters to New York is Week 4, not the rest of the Bears' campaign. Williams might still miss that.
On Monday, Chicago head coach Ben Johnson announced that Williams avoided long-term injury but will miss
time. He is officially listed as "week-to-week" with a hamstring issue:
